OER + ScholComm is an IMLS-funded collaboration to research the ideal components of and to develop a corpus of open educational resources (OER) that supports formal and continuing education preparing librarians to work in and advocate for change in the scholarly communication landscape. There are two primary outcomes of our work, both in active development as of 2022.  First, an open-licensed book-length introduction to scholarly communication librarianship and the forces that shape and inform it, under contract with ACRL. Second, a platform we’re called the Scholarly Communication Notebook, or SCN, that both compliments and extends the book as an active hub of open teaching and learning content.
